Nutrition Program

The South El Monte Senior Center serves well-balanced nutritious meals, Monday through Friday (except on special luncheons) at 11:30 am.  The senior nutrition program serves meals in a group setting at the South El Monte Senior Center and meals are coordinated with other social services such as transportation, educational presentations, health screenings, and recreation and wellness programs. Special lunch events are conducted in conjunction with holidays.

Lunch registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

The suggested donation for each meal is $3.00 for seniors (60+) and $7.00 for non-seniors (59 and under).  

Participants are asked to arrive half an hour prior to lunchtime to register for the lunch program.

Home Delivered Meal Program

The Senior Home Delivered Meal Program is available for home bound seniors age 60+, living in the City of South El Monte. Client is determined qualified for HDM Services if the older adult is frail and homebound by reason of illness, or disability.

Meals are delivered Monday through Friday (except for major holidays), between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
