Governor Jerry Brown approved Senate Bill 272 in October 2015, which requires the City to create and post a catalog of its "enterprise systems" by July 1, 2016, in a prominent location on the City’s website. The catalog will be updated annually.
An "enterprise system" is defined under Government Code Section 6270.5 as:
A software application or computer system that collects, stores, exchanges, and analyzes information that the agency uses that is both of the following:
